_ECHHO recognizes the need for Hispanics in the state of Ohio and surrounding states to further their education.  Therefore, ECHHO is fully committed to working in coordinated efforts with parents, high school/vocational center counselors, administrators, social service representatives and other post secondary institutions and community organizations.  Through these coordinated efforts, ECHHO will utilize its resources to provide pertinent information about higher education to Hispanic students at elementary, junior high and high school levels.

The members of this organization are educators, community members and supporting institutions, providing leadership and guidance to Hispanic residents in the State of Ohio and other surrounding states. ECHHO is a non- profit organization that works in a collaborative effort for the educational improvement of Hispanics at the primary, secondary and post-secondary levels.

Purpose of the Organization

ECHHO is organized exclusively for charitable and educational, purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) or any corresponding sections of any future federal tax including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that also qualify as Section 501(c)(3) exempt organizations. To this end, the corporation shall  provide charitable and educational services such as college fairs, educational programming and college access activities to agencies, individuals and community residents at no cost or low cost. All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.
