ECHHO College Fairs

EVENTS ECHHO College Fairs In order to increase college awareness among Hispanic students in Ohio and surrounding areas, ECHHO sponsors at least nine college fairs each year. Fairs are held throughout Ohio in areas with high concentrations of Latino youth. Students, parents, and high schools from surrounding communities are invited to attend these fairs and benefit from the information on college planning.

Students will hear presentations on College Admission as well as Financial Aid Information from professionals who actually work in these areas. Guest speakers, computer, and Internet workshops will also highlight some of the fairs each year. Students will then be able to participate in their own college fair attended by ECHHO member schools and institutions.

On the ECHHO calendar is a list of our college fairs. If you are a student, parent or a high school counselor and would like more information about attending these fairs, please contact us. If you are representing a college or university, please visit our Membership page to learn how to represent your school at these fairs.

Last year over 1200 Hispanic youth were reached through ECHHO programs. This year we are anticipating even more students to attend our activities. We hope you will be able to join our efforts in preparing Latino youths for tomorrow's leadership.
