EVENTS
In order
to increase college awareness among Hispanic students in Ohio and
surrounding areas, ECHHO sponsors a number of college fairs each year.
Fairs are held throughout Ohio in areas with high concentrations of
Latino youth. Students, parents, and high schools from surrounding
communities are invited to attend these fairs and benefit from the
information on college planning.
Students will hear presentations on College Admission as well as Financial Aid Information from professionals who actually work in these areas. Guest speakers, computer and internet workshops will also highlight some of the fairs each year. Students will then be able to participate in their own college fair attended by ECHHO member institutions and organizations.
On the ECHHO calendar is a list of our college fairs. If you are a student, parent or a high school counselor and would like more information about attending these fairs, please contact us. If you are representing a college, university or community organization please visit our Members page to learn how to represent your organization at these fairs. We hope you will be able to join our efforts in preparing Latino youths for tomorrow's leadership.
